2、 Specification and model

1. Product range selection:

In order to achieve the best effect of product accuracy, life, stability and other functions, the range selection of the product is calculated by referring to the following formula:

Range = x (1.2-1.5) times of the maximum system pressure;

The actual measuring pressure range of the product should be 15% - 80% of the range;

2. Signal output mode of the product:

The signal output specification depends on the requirements of the back-end acquisition equipment;

Common are: control and display instrument, PLC acquisition and input module, MCU acquisition card, PC serial port, etc

If the back-end acquisition equipment is determined according to the output specification of the product, it is recommended to use the general two-wire system 4-20mA;

3. The user should understand the measurement medium characteristics of the product:

Medium specification, medium temperature, medium purity (whether containing impurities or particles, etc.);

4. Users should understand the installation environment and installation method of the product:

Indoor or outdoor installation;

Ambient temperature;

Required sealing level;

Vibration range of equipment;

Installation method: thread, flange, special structure;

Whether the installation space meets the overall dimension of the product;

5. Whether the display resolution of the product meets the use requirements of the equipment;

Display range of display instrument: - 1999 – 9999, with variable decimal point;

6. The output signal of the product instrument display is only one of 4-20mma two-wire system, without signal output of other specifications (such as voltage 0-5vdc or 0-10vdc output);

Question 1: no output from pressure transmitter?

Reverse connection of power line: wiring according to the requirements of product instruction / product certificate / product label；

Poor wiring of electrical connector: disassemble the electrical connector and check whether the wiring of each terminal pin is firm；

Cable open circuit: replace cable；

Transmitter amplifier board burnt out: repair or replacement；

Question 2: pressure transmitter output ＜ 3.92ma?

The power supply voltage is less than the required value: the normal minimum power supply voltage is 9VDC, check the voltage value；

Insufficient power of power supply: whether the power of power supply meets the requirements of rated load；

Excessive load of acquisition circuit: check the circuit load；

Pressure value exceeds the minimum range value: whether negative pressure is formed at the pressure tap of the transmitter；

Pressure transmitter amplifier board burned out: repair or replacement；

Impact or overpressure core damage: repair or replace；

Question 3: pressure transmitter output ≥ 22mA?

The power supply voltage is less than the required value: the normal minimum power supply voltage is 9VDC, check the voltage value；

Insufficient power of power supply: whether the power of power supply meets the requirements of rated load；

Pressure value exceeds the maximum range value: check the loading pressure of pressure transmitter；

Pressure transmitter amplifier board burned out: repair or replacement；

Impact or overpressure core damage: repair or replace；

Question 4: unstable pressure transmitter output?

Unstable pressure source: check whether the pressure of the pressurization system is stable；

No grounding wire: pressure transmitter and equipment are grounded；

The installation position of the transmitter has a large magnetic field: install a shield or replace the installation position；

The cable is too long and passes through the magnetic field: replace the cable routing position；

Transmitter water or steam: put the transmitter into the temperature box when the transmitter is not powered on, and heat it to 65 ℃ for drying；

Stone sand or sundries in pressurized pipeline: cleaning；

Question 5: is there no display on the indicator head of the pressure transmitter, incomplete display characters, and character jumping?

No display with current output: LED or LCD display broken, repair or replace；

Incomplete display characters: water, poor contact or faulty welding, repair or replacement；

Character runout: the vibration of the installation position exceeds the allowable range or the contact is poor, repair or replace；

Display garbled Code: program error or water inflow, etc., repair or replace；

Question 6: the output of the pressure transmitter is abnormal after the load is connected?

Output current is very small at 0 pressure: input impedance of load exceeds 500 ohm；

The output current is very small when the pressure is 0: the power of the power supply does not meet the requirements of the sensor；

Output current exceeds 15mA at 0 pressure: power supply does not meet sensor requirements；
